January 10, 2006 Syosset, New York
On behalf of its client, a large credit card company, Simmons, Jannace & Stagg prevailed on appeal against claims that it breached the terms of its credit card agreement with plaintiff and engaged in "deceptive and corrupt business schemes" in connection with plaintiff's credit card account. New York's Appellate Term, First Department, upheld the trial court's decision following a non-jury trial.
